CAD Drafter (Architectural Drafting & Design)

As CAD Drafter (Architecture) we are able to perform the following tasks using Autodesk & Chief Architect  software of at least version 2015:
  • Prepares working plans, detailed drawings and complete mechanical or electrical drawings and layouts of components and assemblies such as schematics, interconnect lists, parts breakdowns, wire lists, etc., from notes, verbal instructions and rough or detailed sketches for engineering purposes.
  • Work involves independent judgment to a limited extent with references generally available.
  • Producing to scale architectural drawings representing site plan layouts; floor plan layouts; layout of electronic and electrical equipment; isometric details of electrical and electronic equipment; riser diagrams; electrical diagrams and single-line drawings; schedules; and ability to read, interpret electrical and architectural drawings.
  • Communicate effectively with Design Engineers and other staff.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays if needed
Duties (Cad Draftsman):
Our duties is to liaise with Professional Registered Architects in Fiji concerning the design for consultation. Working with the guidelines of Fiji. So however drawing produce in a architecture manner will always consultant with the Registered Architects of Fiji.

Design Development refines the concepts approved in the schematic phase.  Finalizing specifications of architectural plan and details, lighting, materials, furnishings, equipment and budgets.

Construction Documentation often involves the most interface with other design team professionals and consultants to make sure all aspects of the project are properly documented.
Construction Administration insures the project is built-out based on the documented design and specifications arrived at from previous phases. Administration may include Periodic inspection of work progress
